In aerospace field it is essential to act in absence of polluting particles and to keep microbiological contamination under control to avoid any transfer of terrestrial biological material to other planets.
Technological innovation effort required in this field is very high, as evidenced by one of the most prestigious projects in which we have taken part.
Acotec, in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space, was one of the main contractors of ESA Exomars 2016-2021 mission, carrying out two highly innovative projects: a 360 sqm ISO7 HC (HIGHLY CONTROLLED) cleanroom and subsequent upgrade, to guarantee an ISO3AMC-8 confined environment, definable as one of the cleanest places on earth and, later, design and construction of a 200 sqm transportable cleanroom used to complete modules assembly launched on 2016 mission at ESA laboratories in Cannes and in Baikonur launch base.
